Chisinau, 19 July /MOLDPRES/ – There were examined more issues regarding the Transdniestrian conflict today in the parliamentary consultation and controlling platform for implementation of reintegration policy of Moldova.

At a press conference, Speaker of Parliament, Andrian Candu, spoke at the meeting about the progress made in format 5+2, especially the ones related to vehicle registration within region.

"It was a productive discussion of great interest. We talked about registration of vehicles in the region and neutral plates. This issue will also be examined in Parliament's plenary because there is a bill to implement memorandum and protocol signed earlier. Thus, for the first time in 25 years, an agency of Moldova will have branches in Tiraspol and Ribnita. They will use our databases, register and our institutional mechanisms on territory of left bank of the Dniester," said Candu.

The official mentioned that another discussed topic was the access of farmers to agricultural land in region, as well as situation of schools with teaching in Romanian and Latin script on territory of Transnistrian region. "The progress and results of operation of border crossing point Pervomaisc-Cuciurgan with Ukraine represented another examined subject. We also talked about the dealings with Ukrainian authorities upon expansion of common border control points," said Andrian Candu.

The meeting today was attended by MPs, representatives of the Reintegration Policy Bureau (BPR), Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MAEIE), Intelligence and Security Service (SIS), Ministry of Defence (MA) etc. The next meeting will take place in early September.
