Moldova's national festival-contest Delfiada-2018 nominates winners

Chisinau, 19 September /MOLDPRES/ – The third issue of the National Delfiada Festival – contest (FCND), held in 2018, ended on 18 September evening with the Gala of Laureates at the National Philharmonic Serghei Lunchevici in Chisinau.

According to the President of the Delphic National Council (CND) of Moldova, Constantin Rusnac, the Delfiada is organised in order to implement the idea of ​​ Dolphin Movement as a supreme arts forum, as to preserve, promote and develop the cultural heritage of ethnic Moldovans, establish inter – ethnic and intercultural relations of friendship.

The festival took place in three stages in various parts of Moldova on different age ranges – from 10 to 21 years old.

At the violin section, category A of 10 – 13 years of age the gold medal was awarded to Daniel Lazar, a pupil at the Republican Music High School C. Porumbescu in Chisinau, while in category B (14 – 17 years old) – Alexandrina Croitor, pupil at the same institution. Daria Schibitcaia, pupil at the Republican Music High school S. Rahmaninov took the gold medal at the violin section, category C (18 – 21 years old). Maream Ehsan, pupil at the Republican Music High School C. Porumbescu was chosen with the gold medal in the piano section, category B (14 – 17). In the same section, category C (18 – 21) in possession of the gold medal came Alexandru Prigalo, a pupil at the Academy of Music, Theatre and Fine Arts (AMTAP). There were chosen several pupils and students for silver and bronze medals.

The Festival is organised and coordinated by CND of Moldova, Union of Musicians (UM), Consultative National Council of the Heads of the sections/units of Culture and Cultural Affairs in collaboration with the local public authorities (APL) Level II and is run under the aegis of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research (MECC) of Moldova and the National Commission of Moldova for UNESCO, under the auspices of the Delfic International Council, supported by APL, economic agents and people of good faith.
