Chisinau, 2 October /MOLDPRES/- Block administrators can apply to Termoelectrica company for connection to heating. However, several buildings in the capital have already been connected to the heat.

The head of the communication and public relations service of Termoelectrica company, Elena Junghina, said that so far, the Municipal Clinical Hospital no 1, an association of Botanica residents and an economic agent of the same district have been connected to heating. ”Also, there have been several requests for connection to the thermal agent due to be examined,” Junghina said.

Lodgers decide individually to connect to heating. “In this case, it is necessary people notify the building manager. To connect to heating, it is not required to collect signatures, but as the building manager to submit to Termoelectrica company an application and technical passport for connection. Subsequently, for three hours, the block will be connected to heating.  It will benefit from the heat, although some residents have debts. The procedure is also valid for public institutions in the capital," the official said.

Last year, heat supply in the capital began in the first part of October. Most often, municipal authorities sign the provision of heat connection when average temperatures reach below 8 degrees Celsius. However, the provision has more a recommendation connotation for managers, as institutions may individually request connection to heat.

Termoelectrica company annually supplies 4,500 objects, of which 2,900 are residential buildings (over 208 thousand apartments), 870 companies, 140 kindergartens, 160 schools and high schools, 70 medical institutions and 90 higher education institutions.

For the next few days, meteorologists forecast lower temperatures. The air temperatures will reach to +19 degrees during the day in the south of the country, and at night - a minimum of up to +5 degrees Celsius in the north.
