Chisinau, 12 December /MOLDPRES/ - The parliament will hold its last meeting of the current session on 14 December. Parliament Speaker Andrian Candu made statements to this effect at the end of a meeting of the standing bureau today.
The speaker noted that Prime Minister Pavel Filip and the cabinet members are expected to unveil a report at the meeting due on next Friday. Also, more subjects and draft laws will be included on the agenda.
Candu also said the lawmakers would return to plenary meeting in early next February, at the spring session. “Taking into account that the electoral campaign will be in full swing, we will try not to assemble at plenary meetings too often, in order not to use the parliament for political struggles and discussions,” Candu added.
The present parliament started working on 30 November 2014.
