Six psychological counseling offices open in border police subdivisions of Moldova

Chisinau, 02 August /MOLDPRES/ – There have been opened 06 psychological relaxation offices at the Border Police (PF). Within them, the employees will be able to take advantage of psychological assistance and moments of diminishing professional stress.
It was inaugurated 01 of 06 offices at the General Inspectorate of Border Police (IGPF), on Thursday, 01 August. Five other offices will operate in subdivisions, namely in the south, west and east regional departments, in PF sector of Chisinau International Airport and in the Centre of Excellence of Border Security.
The offices were renovated and equipped with technical equipment and furniture. The employees will also have armchairs with muscle relaxation massage.
According to the IGPF's information and media communication service, their purpose is that both the employees of institution, as well as migrants in difficulty, benefit from the need for quality psychological assistance.
The Head of the Mission of the International Organisation for Migration (ILO) in Moldova, Lars Johann Lonnback, has outlined that it is important that PF do not stop here, but ensure all necessary measures for sustainability of functioning of these offices, by allocating human and financial resources, but also contribute to improving the quality of psychological services for employees of IGPF and migrants.
The renovation and arrangement of the psychological relaxation offices was made possible due to the support of the International Development Fund of IOM Mission in Moldova.
