Ukraine provided 3,000 authorizations for freight transport in 2019

Chisinau, 15 November /MOLDPRES/- Ukraine has granted the Republic of Moldova three thousand authorizations for bilateral transport or freight transit on the territory of the neighboring state in 2019. The National Road Transport Agency (ANTA) made the statement.
According to ANTA, the decision was made following a request sent by the Moldovan authorities.
Thus, category I permits, of the type "Ukraine bilateral / transit" shall be issued no more than one for each vehicle and trailer assembly with a loading capacity greater than 3.5 tons or with a total mass greater than 6 tons under the procedures set by the Road Transport Code.
Earlier, the Ministry of Economy and Infrastructure said that the Russian Federation has granted for 2019 an additional 500 transport permits.
Freight carriers from our country have repeatedly protested, being dissatisfied that they cannot get permits to transport their products abroad.
