Most valuable inventions, innovations awarded in exhibition INFOINVENT in Moldova

Chisinau, 23 November /MOLDPRES/ – The XVIth issue of the International Specialised Exhibition: INFOINVENT, held on 20 – 23 November, has nominated its winners. The amount of almost 450 works exhibited at the stands were appreciated by Expert Commission (CE) and International Jury (JI) of exhibition with 140 gold, 80 silver and 80 bronze medals.

The most important distinction that is granted within Exhibition INFOINVENT is the Government Award of Moldova: Outstanding Inventor. In this issue, the great prize went to inventor from the State Agricultural University of Moldova (UASM), Nicolae Eremia, for the cycle of inventions in veterinary medicine.

Traditionally, the World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO) awards for the most active inventors and innovative institutions are also present at the exhibition.

Also, the presented inventions were appreciated with trophies, cups, diplomas and special mentions by the State Agency for Intellectual Property (AGEPI), as well as by national partners, international institutions attending the event.

“By means of this exhibition we have been able to provide the necessary framework for promoting the results of work of researchers and inventors in the atmosphere of an event which has deserved the attention of public and business people, interested in developing their business on a modern innovative basis. This was also the purpose that the event organisers had proposed –promotion of industrial property objects, new products and technologies, stimulation of innovative activity, exchange of technical – scientific and normative – legislative info”, said at the event acting general director of AGEPI, Andrei Popa.

Dozens of institutions and companies, young creators and inventors from Moldova, Romania, Belarus, Poland, Italy, South Korea, Malaysia, Vietnam, France etc. have participated, on 20 – 23 November, in the international specialised exhibition: INFOINVENT – 2019, XVIth issue. The event was organised by AGEPI and International Exhibition Centre Moldexpo, in collaboration with Ministry of Education, Culture and Research (MECC) and National Agency for Research and Development (ANCD).
