Moldova's National Social Insurances House transfers money meant to pay help for year cold period, social benefit

Chisinau, 12 December /MOLDPRES/ - About 171 disadvantaged families from Moldova are to receive the help for the cold period of the year. To pay it, the National Social Insurances House (CNAS) transferred 85.5 million lei today.

The size of the assistance for the cold period of the year increased by 150 lei and is worth 500 lei monthly. The benefit is paid for the period November-March.

Also, a transfer for social assistance amounting to 38.8 million lei for 44,000 people was made today.

The beneficiaries of the aforementioned social benefits are to take the money on 26 December.

The assistance for the cold period of the year and the social benefit are established by the territorial social assistance structures and the payment of these benefits is carried out according to the lists presented by the concerned institutions.
