Chisinau, 27 December /MOLDPRES/- The promulgation decree and the law on state budget for 2020 were published today in the Official Journal of Moldova. The document will enter into force on 1 January next year.
According to the Law on state budget for 2020, its revenues will amount to 44 136.6 million lei, with an increase of 8.6% compared to 2019 (rectified), due to the expected increase of taxes and duties, the VAT still being the most important source.
The expenditures of the state budget will amount to about 51,551.9 million lei, 11.3% more than in the current year. These are determined by the need for financial assurance of the priorities of the branches, according to the national and sectoral policy documents; the continuation of the ongoing reforms in the fields: social protection, education system, health, public order, justice; ensuring the implementation of the system of remuneration of work in the budgetary sector; as well as the financial assurance of the projects and actions provided for in the agreements with the development partners.
The financing of the deficit of the national public budget in 2020 will be carried out from internal and external sources, in particular by using loans for financing projects from external sources and for supporting the budget, the issuance of state securities, shares in the form of equity participation, other internal debts of the budget, as well as from the money means from balances to the accounts of the component budgets of the national public budget.
