The EU4Cahul initiative will imply the Cahul municipality and its neighbor settlements from this district on the period 2019-2025. It will be carried out by the United Nations Development Programme.

„The Cahul city is the southern capital of Moldova and obviously it needs support for its multilateral development. I want to thank EU and the member states for the selection of our settlement and region as pilot zone for this assistance. We know which are our priorities, we have prepared projects and we want to assure our partners of the responsibility, transparency and integrity in the implementation of this programme,’’ the Cahul city mayor, Nicolae Dandis, said.
