Japanese Film Festival returns to Moldovan capital

Chisinau, 23 January /MOLDPRES/ - Four films will be screened at the Japanese Film Festival, due to take place at the Odeon Culture Centre from Moldova’s capital on 23-26 January.  

The event is organized by the Embassy of Japan in Moldova as part of Japan Arts Cultural Festival 2020.

According to the organizers, on 23 January, after the festival’s official inauguration, a movie titled, Her Love is Hot, will be screened at 18:00. On 24 January, the audience is expected to the film, The Tokyo Night Sky, at 18:30 and on 25 January, starting from 18:00, people will be able watch the movie, Three Love Stories. The festival will end on 26 January with the film, Dear Foreigner, at 18:00.     

The Embassy of Japan said that the movies would be subtitled in the Romanian and English languages. The entrance to the films is free.

The first issue of the Japanese Film Festival was held at the Odeon Culture Centre on 17-18 March 2017.  

The Embassy of Japan was opened in Chisinau in 2016. The diplomatic relations between Moldova and Japan were established on 16 March 1992.
