Moldovan cabinet approves plan on organizing actions dedicated to 75th anniversary of Victory Day

Chisinau, 5 February /MOLDPRES/ - The government, at a today meeting, approved a decision on the organization and carrying out of actions dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Victory Day and commemoration of the heroes dead for the independence of the Motherland.  

For the good organization and implementation of the programme, the government set up a working group, chaired by Prime Minister Ion Chicu. The group will include cabinet members, the Chisinau general mayor, representatives of the power wielding structures, veterans’ organizations and civil society.  

Also, the cabinet members approved a national plan of actions dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Victory Day and commemoration of the heroes dead for the independence of the Motherland. The plan sees a string of measures, held in Chisinau and in Moldovan settlements, at more historical, cultural objects, museums, education institutions, etc.  

The actions contained in the national plan will be carried out from and within the limits of the means of the competent authorities, as well as from other sources, under the legislation. Also, the cabinet recommends that the local public administration authorities identify the needed financial means for the implementation of the actions provided for in the national plan.
