Moldova's State Fiscal Service warns flower traders about verifications

Chisinau, 13 February /MOLDPRES/ - The State Fiscal Service (SFS) has informed about comprehensive verifications of the work of natural flowers traders in Chisinau, due on 13-15 February.    

These actions will be carried out in the context of the increase in the demand of flowers on these days, which enhance the risk of fiscal infringements. In particular, it is about the failure to use cash registers while making cash discounts, which implicitly leads to the decrease of revenues and, respectively, of the taxes and duties related to the National Public Budget.  

In the context, the State Fiscal Service recommends that all tax payers comply with the provisions of the legislation in force and buyers should ask for the cash voucher when purchasing flowers.

SFS specified that such controls were carried out regularly; yet, special attention is paid to the vulnerable segments on days with higher risk of fiscal infringements, especially on holidays.
