700 lei aid offered to low-income people to be included in law

Chisinau, 17 February /MOLDPRES/- The draft on setting in the compulsory legislation of 700 lei support for people with low incomes will be submitted to MPs this week. Prime Minister Ion Chicu made the statement at the end of the working meeting with President Igor Dodon and Speaker Zinaida Grecianii.

The prime minister said that the government has already submitted to the parliament for examination the presidential initiatives on indexation of pensions twice a year and the one that will establish by law providing 700 lei support to low-income people.

He added that this week, the package of laws agreed with the IMF, as well as a document providing for indexation of judges' pensions on general criteria, will be approached in parliament.
