Chisinau, 6 June /MOLDPRES/ - The Cahul-based district Extraordinary Public Health Commission (CRESP) on 5 June took more restrictive decisions, in the context of an increase in the number of people infected with coronavirus in the settlement.
Thus, CRESP Cahul instructed the ceasing of the work of the markets from the Cahul city starting from 9 June till 22 June. Only a market for the sale of farming goods remains to work.
Also, the access to the cemeteries from the Cahul district will be denied on 6-19 June.
The commission ruled to cease the inter-urban public transport and the transport of economic agents on 8-21 June. At the same time, the work of the enterprises SA Tricon, Draxlmaier and LTM is ceased for 14 days (8-21 June).
„The decisions are tough, but when you analyze them, you understand that the care for people stayed at their basis. We hope to be understood by the residents and economic agents, whose work will be stopped,’’ the head of the Cahul-based district Extraordinary Public Health Commission, Vladimir Calmic, said, quoted by www.ziuadeazi.md.
At present, there are 449 confirmed cases of COVID-19, 12 deaths, 232 recovered cases and 708 people under medical supervision in the southern Cahul district. Thus, Cahul is on the fourth position in terms of contamination, after the Chisinau, Balti and Soroca municipalities.
