Application on registration of status of unemployed can be submitted online in Moldova

Chisinau, 8 July /MOLDPRES/ - The applications on the registration of the status of unemployed and the accompanying acts can be submitted online. The cabinet of ministers approved a decision to this effect today.  

Under the decision, the amendments due to be made to the legislation allow submitting the applications online and remove the need for applicants to present the documents, if the applicants are in the electronic registers of other institutions (State Fiscal Service, Public Services Agency).     

The cabinet also proposes the digitalization and automation of providing the unemployment benefit, which will allow the decision on establishing the unemployment be issued concomitantly with the registration of the status of unemployed.  

At the same time, the amendments imply also the automated establishment of the quantum and duration of payment of the unemployment benefit by the information system of the National Social Insurances House (CNAS), based on data, from the decision on establishing the right to unemployment benefit, issued by the territorial subdivisions, which allows the elimination of the 30-day period, when the calculation is made by CNAS, according to the regulations in force.
