As many as 13,650 elderly people of Moldova demand reexamination of pension

Chisinau, 22 July /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 13,650 applications for re-examination of the age limit pension have been submitted by beneficiaries of the pensions established after 1 January 1999, starting from 1 July till present.  

According to the press service of the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry (MSMPS), following the reexamination, the average pension for these beneficiaries increased, on average, from 2,353.33 lei to 5,011.10 lei. It is worth to be mentioned that the pension’s reexamination is made based on the average insured monthly income from the entire period of work, valued at the moment of the pension’s reexamination.  

At the same time, MSMPS informs that a draft law have been recently approved, which sees that the application on the age limit pension’s reexamination could be submitted electronically as of 1 January 2021, through the single governmental portal of public services, www.servicii.gov.md, the citizens’ governmental portal or the webpage of the National Social Insurances House, www.cnas.md.
