Moldovan foreign affairs minister has dialogue with Diaspora

Chisinau, 31 July /MOLDPRES/ - Foreign Affairs and European Integration Minister Oleg Tulea today participated in a videoconference with representatives of the Diaspora from Italy, organized by Moldova’s Embassy in Rome, the Foreign Affairs and European Integration Ministry’s press service has reported.

The participants in the dialogue discussed subjects of major interest for the Moldovan citizens from this country, including the interaction with the relatives and close people from Moldova, as well as with the Moldovan and Italian authorities, in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Oleg Tulea said he wanted a continuous and efficient dialogue with the entire community of Moldovans from abroad.

The minister urged the Diaspora from Italy to ask for assistance from the Moldovan Embassy in Rome and the Consulates from Milan and Padua each time when facing difficulties.

Oleg Tulea assured the Moldovan citizens of the every support of Moldova’s authorities and encouraged them to actively contribute with ideas and proposals of improving the interaction with the diplomatic missions and consular offices of Moldova from abroad.

„Be sure that all these ideas, all these proposals will be submitted to us and will have a reaction on behalf of the Foreign Affairs Ministry. We intend to assess these proposals and take a proper attitude,’’ Minister Tulea stressed.
