More than 600 people return to Moldova in last 24 hours

Chisinau, 1 August /MOLDPRES/ - The flow of people has represented 12,191 crossings through Moldova’s border checkpoints in the last 24 hours. As many as 6,112 people entered Moldova, of whom 3,484 ones at the Moldovan-Romanian border, 1,118 – at the border with Ukraine and 1,510 peopled entered the country at the airport.   

According to data by the General Inspectorate of Border Police, the most transited border checkpoints were: Leuseni – 1,552 crossings; Chisinau Airport – 1,510 crossings, Giurgiulesti-Galati-933 crossings.

At the same time, in the last 24 hours, border policemen have recorded 15 infringements of the border zone regime, one case of illegal trafficking in goods and one person was documented for the non-observance of prophylaxis measures, prevention and combating of epidemic diseases.  

As many as 12,191 people were subjected to screening at the border checkpoints opened for traffic, 6,112 individual epidemiological cards were filled in. No person had symptoms of COVID-19 infection while crossing the border.
