Moldovan government earmarks money to provide schools with disinfectants

Chisinau, 3 September /MOLDPRES/- The government today earmarked necessary financial means to provide educational institutions with disinfectants and pay salary of teachers who will work by more than 1.5 teaching norm.
According to the decision, about 31 million lei will be allocated to provide the educational institutions with disinfectants in 2020-2021 academic year.
At the same time, the government has allocated 105 million lei for paying wages of teachers who will work by over 1.5 teaching norm.
According to the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research, this year 3,901 teachers (7.19% of total teachers) will work by over 1.5 teaching norm.
