Gas likely to be cheaper by 10% this autumn

Chisinau, 8 September /MOLDPRES/- Gas could be 7-10 percent cheaper this autumn. Chairman of the Board of Directors of Moldovagaz Vadim Ceban made the statement today.
According to Ceban, the tariff could decrease due to the decrease in the purchase price - up to 100-115 dollars per 100 cubic meters. Currently, Moldova buys gas at an average price of 145 dollars per 1,000 cubic meters.
Earlier, President Igor Dodon said that this autumn we could have a cheaper tariff for gas and electricity. He explained that there are prerequisites for lowering the tariff for thermal energy resources.
