Moldovan electoral body sets up second-level constituency electoral councils

Chisinau, 11 September /MOLDPRES/- The Central Electoral Commission / CEC / set up today the second-level constituency councils for the organization and conduct of presidential elections on 1 November 2020.

At the meeting of the central electoral administration was approved the nominal composition of the electoral constituencies councils, made up of 9-11 persons, nominated under the law by the courts, district / municipal councils, as well as by parties and other social-political organizations represented in parliament. If the number is not enough, it is filled in by the CEC from the Register of electoral officials.

The first meeting of the electoral bodies will be held no later than 14 September 2020. By 26 September 2020, the polling stations will be set up, and by 6 October 2020 - their electoral offices.
