Six Chisinau-based kindergartens to undergo energy optimization

Chisinau, 1 October /MOLDPRES/ - The Chisinau city hall today signed the first contract on procurement with the entrepreneur who had won the tender for providing services for the restoration of the buildings of six kindergartens from the Chisinau municipality, within the project, Energy efficiency and thermal rehabilitation of buildings from Chisinau.

The project’s overall values is of 25 million euros and is implemented by the Chisinau city hall, with the financial backing of the development partners, European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (ten million euros), European Investment Bank (ten million euros) and Energy Fund (E5P) (grant worth five million euros).

In October, the Chisinau city hall will start tenders for the other three consignments (providing services as to buildings’ thermal rehabilitation), where three hospitals and 14 lyceums/sports schools are included.
