Chisinau, 16 October /MOLDPRES/ - Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Cristina Lesnic today had an official meeting jointly with Moldova’s delegation to the Joint Control Commission (JCC) and Head of the OSCE Mission in Moldova Claus Neukirch, the Reintegration Policies Bureau has reported.

One of the subjects tackled at the meeting was focused on the situation of the illegal posts from the Security Zone and their impact on the freedom of movement, organization and carrying out of the elections, as well as their infrastructure. The official thanked for the bimonthly information provided on the situation of the aforementioned posts. At the same time, Lesnic reiterated that the tendency to transform the mobile posts into stationary ones cannot be accepted. In the context, the officials exchanged opinions on the last JCC’s meeting from 15 October.

The human rights, individual cases and cases of kidnapping of those four Moldovan citizens by Transnistrian structures was the focus of the discussions held. Chisinau stressed the last causes from Camenca on 7-8 October 2020 not only exceeded all red lines, but also proved that the dimension of human rights was the most sensitive one from the viewpoint of provocations.

Cristina Lesnic noted that Tiraspol had refused the organization of the sub-group for human rights on 15-16 October.

Thus, Moldova presented its position and the list of individual cases of infringement of human rights and fundamental freedoms at a meeting of the OSCE Permanent Council from 15 October. The country condemned the provocative and abusive actions of the Transnistrian power-wielding forces, as well as the degradation of the situation as to human rights in the Transnistrian region.

Another aspect of the discussion regarded the circulation of categories of officials on purpose of work, with the jobs duties jeopardized.

In the context, the Reintegration Policies Bureau jointly with Moldova’s delegation to JCC, other state’s authorities take efforts to remedy the situation of those four Moldovan citizens hit by the events occurred in Camenca.
