Chisinau, 6 November /MOLDPRES/ - The participants in a meeting of the OSCE Permanent Council, at an initiative by Moldova’s Permanent Delegation, have discussed the continuation of abusive and provocative actions of the Tiraspol regime against the Moldovan citizens with residence on the left bank of Dniester, the Foreign Affairs and European Integration Ministry’s press service has reported.
The Moldovan delegation informed the OSCE participating states on a new case of kidnapping of citizen Oleg Babii on 29 October 2020 through illegal actions of kidnapping and applying psychological pressure, according to the scenario used in the case of other Moldova’s citizens.
Also, the Moldovan delegation drew the attention of the OSCE participating states to the non-transparent movements in the Security Zone of transport means belonging to the Operative Grup of Russian Forces, deployed in Moldova without the host country’s agreement.
In the context, the delegation of Moldova expressed regret about the ignoring by the Russian side of Moldovan authorities’ calls as to the informing about the content of military transports, as well as their proper monitoring, in accordance with the Regulation of the Joint Control Commission, which creates uncertainty and represents a security risk.
