Fines for non-compliance with COVID-19 prevention measures to be reduced

Chisinau, 20 November /MOLDPRES/- The fines for non-compliance with the measures of prophylaxis, prevention and control of epidemic diseases will be reduced from 22 thousand lei to 2,000 lei. A bill in this regard was voted by MPs today.

Thus, the fines will decrease from 22,500 - 25,000 lei as now, to 2,000 - 5,000 lei for private people. For legal entities, the fine will be between 10,000 and 35,000 lei, compared to 50,000 - 75,000 lei, as now.

Also, the fine for the deliberate presentation of false or incomplete data or refusal to provide data necessary to fill in epidemiological file from 22,500 to 2,500 lei will be reduced.
