Roadmen say public roads are safe, without blockages in Moldova

Chisinau, 2 December /MOLDPRES/ - The public roads are monitored and cared, after low air temperature were recorded all over Moldova during the last night and sleet and snow - in the central and southern regions, the State Administration of Roads (ASD) has reported.

„Presently, there are no blocked road segments and the traffic takes place safely on the national roads,’’ ASD said.   În prezent, sectoare de drum blocate nu sunt, circulația rutieră pe drumurile naționale se desfășoară în condiții de siguranță”, indică ASD.

According to the institution, works of clearing the snow and glazed frost were carried out in the Chisinau municipality and the districts of Cantemir, Taraclia, Causeni, Stefan Voda, Basarabeasca,
Cimislia, Leova, Anenii Noi, Criuleni, Hancesti, Ialoveni, Orhei, Nisporeni, Floresti, Calarasi, Straseni and UTA Gagauzia.

Seventy four special vehicles with the participation of 51 road workers were involved in the technological process.  

The State Administration of Roads asks drivers to be attentive in traffic and in case of difficulties on roads, call the following phone numbers: 22-55-30; 74-89-61; 060 477 117, to ask for roadmen’s intervention.

According to meteorologists, the dark weather with precipitation in form of sleet and snow will be preserved today; yet, as of 3 December, the air temperature will increase by several degrees and sunny intervals are expected periodically.
