Moldovan fine artist settled in Czech Republic edits album with his works at 60th birthday anniversary

Chisinau, 16 December /MOLDPRES/ - A well-known fine artist from Moldova, who is settled in Tabor, Czech Republic, Teodor Buzu, who has recently turned 60, edited an album with his works.   

Contacted by MOLDPRES, Teodor Buzu said that the album comprised 200 pages and included 250 paintings. The album was printed with the support of the Czech Culture Ministry and Museum from Tabor.  

According to the painter, the artists are privileged people; they are a few ones who fulfill their dreams. A painting, an illustration, a sketch, which aspires to a painting, all these are fulfilled dreams of the artist who lives in the Czech Republic.

Teodor Buzu was born in the Drasliceni village, central Criuleni district, on 3 May 1960. In 1970-1977, he studied at the Igor Vieru Fine Arts Lyceums and in 1980-1085 – at the Academy of Design and Arts from Kharkiv, Ukraine. In Kharkiv, he met his future wife, Dagmar and settled in her Motherland, the Czech Republic, Tabor town. Teodor Buzu is member of the International Union of Professional Fine Artists, Association of Fine Artists from South Bohemia, Czech Republic, of the Group, Die Neuen Milben, Austria, the Union of Fine Artists from Prague and the one from Chisinau. Buzu makes easel paintings, graphic design, monumental art, graphic, illustration.       

Teodor Buzu is Knight of Romania’s National Order of Merit, in rank of Commander (2003). He is laureate of more international awards. Thus, Buzu got the prize Artistic Excellence in Dubai, prize of the United international exhibition in Slovenia, the prize I for graphic presentation Design&technology from Nagano, Japan, the prize of the International Contest of Fine Arts from Passau, Germany, etc. He participated in 100 collective exhibitions and had 87 personal exhibitions.
