Moldovan president lays flowers to monument Stefan cel Mare

Chisinau, 24 December /MOLDPRES/- After the inauguration ceremony, President Maia Sandu went to the monument Stefan cel Mare to lay a wreath. She walked the distance between the Palace of the Republic and the monument on foot and was applauded by the crowd.
Immediately after the ceremony, Sandu went to the ruler's monument, and outside the crowd cheered and accompanied her.
After laying flowers, Maia Sandu went also on foot to the Presidency, where the military-protocol ceremony for the transfer of power will take place.
