More than 1,800 drivers fined in Moldova on days off

Chisinau, 4 January /MOLDPRES/ - As many as 1,880 drivers on the days off were documented by employees of the National Inspectorate of Public Security (INSP) for driving with infringements, of whom 900 ones exceeded the speed limit.

According to INSP data, also on this period, 72 drivers were driving drunk and 184 did not observe the road signs. Another 250 drivers infringed the registration rules or the ones of vehicles’ state registration and technical revision and 38 drivers will be fined for not having their belts coupled.

At the same time, patrol inspectors intervened in 288 demands coming from citizens through the 112 national single service.
