Information campaign on COVID infection launched

Chisinau, 12 January /MOLDPRES/- The Municipal Youth Center in collaboration with the Culture Department and the General Directorate of Social Assistance and Health launched a public information campaign, Youth of the capital against COVID.

The campaign aims to inform people, especially young people, about the importance of complying with the protection rules for combating Covid-19 infection. According to the organizers, the state authorities cannot monitor the population whether or not they comply with the anti-pandemic rules, this depends on the level of civic consciousness of each citizen.

According to data presented yesterday, at the online meeting of the services of Chisinau municipality, it was found that in the municipal educational institutions there were registered 58 students hospitalized with coronavirus forms, and another 260 are in self-isolation. At the same time, 84 teachers tested positive and 25 teachers are in isolation.
