Moldovan president on official visit to Ukraine

Chisinau, 12 January /MOLDPRES/- President Maia Sandu pays an official visit to Ukraine today.
The visit program includes meetings with Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelenskyy in one-on-one format and expanded. Maia Sandu will also meet with Speaker of Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Dmytro Razumkov and Prime Minister of Ukraine Denis Shmygal.
The Moldovan president has begun first official international visit as head of state with laying flowers at the Monument to the Unknown Soldier and the Holodomor Memorial in Kiev. Maia Sandu also set a lighted lamp in memory of those killed in Maidan Square - Nebesnaya Sotnya.
