Tariffs for electric energy cut in Moldova

Chisinau, 26 January /MOLDPRES/ - The Administrative Board of the National Energy Regulatory Agency (ANRE) today approved a cut in the regulated tariffs and prices for the electric energy all over Moldova, in the area of servicing of the state capital enterprise, stock company Premier Energy Distribution and the stock company RED-Nord.      

Based on the present information and analysis of the forecast volumes of electric energy produced by the thermal power stations and the producers from renewable sources, ANRE approved the regulated price for the electric energy supplied by the central provider of electric energy stock company Energocom, amounting to 1.23 lei/KW/hour.   

Also, the average price for electric energy supplied by Premier Energy was calculated by ANRE in a size of 1.44 lei/KWhour, which is by 0.143 lei/KWh lower against the average price in force. The end consumers served by the state capital enterprise Premier Energy, whose use installations are connected to the low-tension distribution power networks (0.4 KV), will pay 1.51 lei/KWhour, which by 0.166 lei/KWh less than the price inn force.     

Also, decision-makers approved the prices for the electric energy provided to other categories of end consumers: 1.14 lei/KWhour for the end consumers, whose installations are connected to the high-tension distribution power networks (35-110KV), by 0.032 lei/KWhour less than the price in force; 1.25 lei/KWhour for the end consumers whose installations are connected to the medium-tension power distribution networks (6-10 KV), by 0.07 lei/KWh less than the price in force.   

At the same time, the average price for the electric energy supplied by the stock company Supply of North Electric Energy in 2021 was established at 1.865 lei/KWhour, -a price which is by 0.134/KWhour less than the average price in force.   

Also today, decision-makers established the following differentiated regulated prices: 1.43 lei/KWhour for the end consumers whose installations are connected to the medium-tension power distribution networks (6-10 kV), by 0.139 lei/KWhour less than the price in force; 2.04 le/KWhour for the end consumers whose installations are connected to low-tension power distribution networks (0.4 KV), by 0.105 lei lei/KWhour less than the price in force.    

The new tariffs approved by the ANRE Administrative Board enter into force as of 1 February 2021.
