Moldovan fine artist - 2020 full of cultural events, achievements in arts

Chisinau, 10 February /MOLDPRES/- For fine artist Inga Edu, winner of several exhibitions, 2020 was a year full of cultural events and achievements in arts.


Inga Edu said that in 2020 she opened three personal exhibitions: the painting exhibition Landscape History at the Museum of History and Ethnography in Calarasi, the painting and graphics exhibition Symphony of Color at the Organ Hall in Chisinau and the painting and graphics exhibition The color of time at the Constantin Brâncuși Exhibition Center, her first exhibition in this institution.

The painter participated and collaborated in the organization of the jubilee exhibition 50 years of activity of the Academic High School of Fine Arts Igor Vieru. Also in August 2020, she served as deputy head of the high school. She also won the First Prize, painting section, at the Biennial of Fine Arts Gheorghe Petrașcu in Targoviste, Romania.

Inga Edu was born on 19 July 1978 in Chisinau. In 1996, she graduated from the Igor Vieru High School of Fine Arts and in 2001 - the Faculty of Fine Arts and Design of Ion Creangă State Pedagogical University in Chisinau and in 2017 - master studies at the same institution. Since 2004, she is a member of the Union of Fine Artists in Romania, Ploiești and since 2013 - a member of the Union of Fine Artists in Moldova. She has had exhibitions in Moldova, Romania and other countries.
