National Public Health Commission limits number of passengers in several types of transport

Chisinau, 16 February /MOLDPRES/- Decision No45 of 15 February 2021 of the National Commission for Public Health (CNESP) reads limiting the number of people in road and rail transport.

"Item 4.4 of the Annex to Decision No35 of 27 November 2021 of the National Public Health Commission is set out in the following variant: limiting the number of people in rail and road transport in district and inter-district traffic - 50% of capacity, and in road transport in local and municipal traffic - up to 50% of the boarding capacity ", the Commission decision reads.

Also, the measures for prevention and control of COVID-19 infection when crossing the state border at entry to Moldova remain as well, according to Annex No1 of Decision No42 of 13 January 2021 of the National Public Health Commission.

State of public health emergency remains in force in Moldova until 15 April. During the period, previously set restrictions remain, including new ones, due to the alarming situation on COVID-19 pandemic. The decisions of the National Commission of Public Health are mandatory for the central and local public administration authorities.
