Experts from both banks of Dniester discuss organization of anti-COVID-19 vaccination process

Chisinau, 17 February /MOLDPRES/ - Experts of the working groups for health care today assembled at a new online meeting, in order to coordinate measures on organizing the process of anti-COVID-19 immunization on both banks of Dniester, the Reintegration Policies Bureau has reported.  

The discussions regarded the ensuring of needed conditions for carrying out the anti-COVID-19 vaccination also in the Transnistrian region, distribution of doses depending on their availability and monitoring the residents’ immunization process on the left bank of Dniester and Bender.  

The experts confirmed the need of concomitant vaccination of the residents on both banks of Dniester, by ensuring the efficient management of the developments and mutual informing about eventual reactions of the vaccine.  

Chisinau expressed openness and willingness to ensure the vaccine’s carriage to the Transnistrian region.   

At the same time, the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry (MSMPS), in partnership with the World Health Organization, will instruct the organization of additional technical trainings, including for specialists from the left bank of Dniester, for familiarization with the known international practices in this respect.  

The experts agreed on maintaining an active dialogue in terms of updating and exchange of information, with the unveiling of statistics data on the evolution of the epidemiological situation in the region.
