Moldovan actor, director - I want to stage French comedy

Chisinau, 18 February /MOLDPRES/- Artistic director of the Russian Dramatic Theater Anton P. Chekhov, actor and director Vitalie Drucec, Master in Art, plans to stage a French comedy this season.

"Another idea is to organize an international theater festival, and to invite there at least five theaters from around the world, thus we could gain some experience ", he said.


Vitalie Drucec was born on 15 August 1971 in Sangerei. In 1989-1993, he studied at the Boris Şciukin Higher School of Theater Art at the State Academic Theater E. Vahtangov from Moscow, Russian Federation, specializing in theater, film and stage actor, and in 2005-2006 he taught directing in the class of master Nugzar Lordkipanidze from Georgia.

In 1993-2010, he was an actor and director at the National Theater E. Ionesco, in 2008-2010 - chief director at the same theater, 2010-2020 - actor and director at the National Theater M. Eminescu. Since 2020 he is artistic director at the Russian State Dramatic Theater A.P. Chekhov.


Vitalie Drucec was awarded several prizes and diplomas, including the Grand Prize at the Young Actor Gala (1994), Award for Best Supporting Actor for Apollon Victorovich Murzaevetsky in Wolves and Sheep by A. Ostrovski at the Gala UNITEM Awards, 2002, Award for Best Director at the UNITEM Awards Gala, 2009, Award for Best Director at the show Casa Zoika after Mikhail Bulgakov, Mihai Eminescu National Theater, 2018.

He attended a lot of festivals: Romania, Japan, Russia, Italy, France, Hungary, Great Britain, Egypt, Spain, Poland, Pakistan, South Korea, Turkey, etc.
