General Inspectorate of Police stopped hearings in all inspectorates in Moldova

Chisinau, 19 February /MOLDPRES/- The General Inspectorate of Police (IGP) announced today that it has suspended the hearings in all the headquarters of the Police Inspectorates in the country, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

According to the police, recently, the number of cases of COVID-19 virus infection has increased significantly throughout the country, including among police officers, therefore it was decided to stop the hearings.

Citizens are urged to opt for online petitions at the e-mail: [email protected], [email protected], and in case of emergency - to call 112.

IGP noted it would come up with information about permission for citizens to visit the headquarters of the National Police.

In the last two days, the number of COVID-19 cases exceeded 1,300.
