Moldovan capital's ciy hall earns 34 million lei from sale of land plots

Chisinau, 19 February /MOLDPRES/ - The Chisinau city hall will collect 34.5 million lei from the sale of 11 land plots which have been put up to auction.
The Chisinau city hall informed that today the first land auction of the 2021 year had been held on the sale and purchasing of land plots of the area with constructions of the Chisinau city. Fifteen land plots with areas from 0.01 to 0.29 hectares were put up to auction, for diverse purposes: constructions or servicing the existing object (for owners of adjacent land plots), private houses, base of production and depositing, blocks of flats, etc. The lands’ initial price varied from 150,000 lei to four million lei.
No participants were recorded for four land plots put to auction and the last two ones were adjudicated through direct negotiations, as by one participant was registered. The dearest land plot sold at the auction cost 15 million lei, beginning from the initial price of 4 million lei. This land plot has an area of 0.2915 hectares and is meant for the building of a block of flats.
In 2020, the city hall sold 15 land plots worth 43.41 million lei from the area with constructions of Chisinau through open land auction.
