Exhibition dedicated to defenders of Moldova's integrity opened at museum in Chisinau

Chisinau, 2 March /MOLDPRES/- The National Museum of History of Moldova opened today temporary exhibition War on the Dniester, dedicated to the defenders of independence and territorial integrity of the Republic of Moldova.

Deputy head of the institution Mariana Vasilache said that the commemorative exhibition is an attempt to reconstruct the reality of the tragedy of spring-summer 1992 and is occasioned by the 29th anniversary of the armed conflict in the eastern districts of the Republic of Moldova.

The exhibition was conceived as a tribute to all participants in defense of the integrity and independence of the Republic of Moldova and, first of all, to those who sacrificed their lives on the altar of freedom of Motherland.

The exhibition will be open until 21 March.
