Exhibition dedicated to 8 March opened at National Library

Chisinau, 8 March /MOLDPRES/- An exhibition was opened at the National Library of the Republic of Moldova on the occasion of the International Women's Day.

The head of the Public Reading department, Tatiana Gheiceanu, the curator of the exhibition, said that it includes over 170 works: books, documents, magazines, photos etc. "The purpose of the exhibition is to bring to the attention of the general public documents from the BNRM collections that reflect the face of women in Bessarabian, Romanian and universal literature," she said.

International Women's Day was adopted in 1977 by a resolution of the UN General Assembly.

The exhibition will be open until 31 March.
