5,462 houses purchased under First Home program

Chisinau, 10 March /MOLDPRES/- 5,562 houses have been purchased so far via First Home government program. The total amount of loans granted by banks is 2.75 billion lei, and the total value of active guarantees is 1.37 billion lei.

According to the Finance Ministry, beneficiaries are 3,768 families, 1,694 unmarried young people. The average age of the applicants is 31.4 years. The average value of purchased homes is 603.24 thousand lei. Out of the total number of purchased homes, 5,106 are located in urban areas, and 356 - in rural areas.

Out of the 5,462 beneficiaries, 964 get compensation from the state budget under the First Home 2 program, 2,337 - First Home 3 program, 752 - First Home 4 program and 15 - First Home 5 program.

The program beneficiary can be a Moldovan citizen aged between 18 and 50 years, who is officially employed by a state institution or private company in the country and has income from official sources.
