Exhibition inaugurated inside Spanish Senate

Chisinau, 23 March /MOLDPRES/- An exhibition entitled Women and Culture was staged on Monday by the Embassy of the Republic of Moldova in Madrid inside the Senate of the Kingdom of Spain.

The event was inaugurated by President of the Senate Pilar Llop Cuenca and Moldovan Ambassador to the Kingdom of Spain Violeta Agrici, with the participation of founder of the MăiestrIA Club Stela Moldovanu.

According to the organizers, the event was dedicated to celebrating the fundamental role of women in promoting culture, transmitting values, traditions, heritage of a nation over the centuries of future generations. The traditional shirt impressed the audience by the variety of symbols, the richness of colors, the perfection and authenticity of the techniques executed.

The event also served as a good opportunity to share and celebrate with those present the ancestral tradition of the Martisor festival.

The exhibition will be open by late March.
