Joint Control Commission convenes in emergency meeting

Chisinau, 26 March /MOLDPRES/- On 25 March 2021, at the initiative of the delegation of the Russian Federation, the Joint Control Commission convened in an emergency meeting, the Reintegration Office has reported.
The agenda of the meeting included only an organizational issue related to the replacement of some soldiers from the Joint Peacekeeping Forces, whose service trips ended.
New senior military chief of the Peacekeeping Forces of the Russian Federation, Colonel D. Sorokin has been confirmed in office. The commission confirmed in office one military observer from the Republic of Moldova and the Russian Federation.
