Decision on cessation of wheat exports published in Official Journal of Moldova

Chisinau, 1 April /MOLDPRES/- Government decision on temporary cessation of wheat exports was published in the Official Journal yesterday.
"It is forbidden until 12 April 2021 the export from the Republic of Moldova of wheat (1001) released from state reserves", the decision reads.
Earlier, President Maia Sandu recommended to the cabinet to set a temporary ban on grain exports. The head of state said that lately grains have been exported from the stock that needed to be renewed and an investigation will be launched on the case.
The decision entered into force on publication in the Official Journal of the Republic of Moldova.
