Over 100 fine artists display works at Spring Salon exhibition in Moldova

Chisinau, 1 April /MOLDPRES/ - Over 100 fine artists have exhibited their works at a contemporary fine art exhibition, Spring Salon, inaugurated at the Constantin Brancusi Exhibition Centre today.  

Contacted by MOLDPRES, the deputy head of the Moldovan Fine Artists’ Union (UAP), Florina Breazu, said that the Spring Salon was part of a string of basic exhibitions included in the exhibition plan and organized by UAP during more decades, in cooperation with the Education, Culture and Research Ministry.  

According to Breazu, 145 works are displayed at the present exhibition, of which 103 parietal works, 42 tridimensional ones, signed by 113 authors, young people and well-known fine artists.  

”The exhibition’s goal is to discover new vectors in the evolution of the visual arts in Moldova, in all fields of manifestation of the creative spirit: painting, graphic, sculpture, decorative art; artistic genres and directions. In the current conditions, each exhibition activity allows us maintaining a constant pace of displaying and promoting the art. Such an event is remarkable for the fine artists participating in the exhibition and all public loving art,’’ Florina Breazu added.     

The exhibition will be open till 18 April.
