Chisinau, 2 April /MOLDPRES/ - The Chisinau Career Fair-2021, held online on 1-2 April, in the context of the pandemic situation triggered by COVID-19, brought together the most active companies with new career variants. The action’s agenda included presentations of jobs, pieces of advice for the edification of a successful career, webinars, professional development sessions, discussions with experts, direct interactions between the participants and companies’ representatives, as well as employment interviews.
The Career Fair from Iasi started the spring edition on 18 and 19 March. Successively, each week, events dedicated to the communities from the settlements and outskirts of the cities Cluj, Chisinau, Brasov, Sibiu, Targu Mures and Oradea are to be held. For each of those seven events, the Career Fair implements various concepts of communication and actions meant to attract as many as possible participants from diverse sectors.
Even if events with thousands of people do not take place physically in the conditions of the pandemic, the Career Fair managed to redirect the people willing to have professional development or looking for a job to the online environment, through more personalized variants, focused on the cities where it edified communities in the 15 years of work. Between 3,500 and 15,000 people participate in each event online, amounting to 60,000 visitors in one edition; all of them have their CV prepared for application on the positions available on the website www. targuldecariere.ro, the event’s organizers said.
The novelty of this issue is brought by a string of variants of the optimized communication and adapted to the employers’ needs for getting the results expected. At the same time, the companies participating in the Career Fair will be promoted to the audience fit for the employment criteria, in all cities in which it provides jobs.
„The fields where jobs are offered are diverse, from retail, human resources, marketing, engineering, consultancy or IT and up to automotive, accounting, finance and constructions; the positions available and their number are different from city to city. The Career Fair is regarded by specialists as the most complex network of events for recruiting and employer branding from Romania and Moldova and turned 15 years of activity this year. Since 2006, starting from the first event till present, the Career Fair has become the most spread solution of selective recruiting and had an essential role in the formation of the labour market, thus contributing to the development of competences, discovery of talents and chances of employment for them.
