As many as 773 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours

Chisinau, 6 April /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 4,438 samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 773 cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed, of which three import ones. As many as 236,563 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.

According to data by the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry (MSMPS), 19 out of all cases are medical employees: physicians – 7, medical assistants –3 and auxiliary staff -8.

As many as 3,962 patients confirmed with COVID-19 are hospitalized in all, of whom 325 are in extremely serious condition (52 patients are connected to assisted breathing apparatus).

In the context, 9,241 persons are treated at home with easy and moderate forms of coronavirus and 19,320 are under supervision at home.

Another 1,128 people have been treated. As many as 217,606 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.

At the same time, MSMPS informs about the registration of another 46 deaths triggered by COVID-19 and 5,224 people have died of coronavirus in all.
