Chisinau,9 April /MOLDPRES/- Promulgation decree and law amending Article 299 of the Labor Code, stipulating that teachers employed under the individual contract will benefit from paid annual leave are published in the Official Journal.
The draft amendment to Article 299 is the result of consultations of women members of the Joint Platform for Dialogue of Women MPs with elected women in local public authorities, which took place in March.
The project's explanatory note says that there is currently a frequent violation of the right to paid annual leave for retired teachers due to the incorrect application of the Labor Code by some employers.
