As many as 830 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova

Chisinau, 10 April /MOLDPRES/- In the last 24 hours, 5,704 tests were processed in the Republic of Moldova, and 830 cases of infection with the new coronavirus were confirmed. In total, 240,886 cases of COVID-19 have been registered in the country so far.

According to the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection (MSMPS), out of the total number of cases, 12 are medical workers: doctors - 1, nurses - 8, auxiliary staff - 3.

In total, 3,547 patients confirmed with COVID-19 infection are hospitalized in hospital medical institutions, of which 312 are in extremely serious condition (52 patients are connected to assisted breathing devices).

At the same time, there are 8,037 people in home treatment with mild and moderate forms of COVID-19, and 18,749 are under home supervision.

Another 1,087 people were treated. In total, 221,968 people were treated by COVID-19.

At the same time, MSMPS informs about the registration of another 30 deaths caused by COVID-19, the number of deaths reaching 5,369.
